Speckial thanks to Bec for loaning me this posts reading material.
These days, with online recipes/blogs being so accessible I find I rarely crack open a cook book. Whenever I have a free second I have been loving flipping through the pages of Marie Claire’s Kitchen Cookbook – The Ultimate Recipe Collection by Michele Cranston.
Here are a few recipes that look yummy… also, they had a really neat idea to saute rhubarb in orange juice until soft and serve over toast & ricotta (AMAZING!)
From skimming through the pages – I immediately like and relate to the fast, simple, recipes… many of which give directions open to your interpretation. There are eight chapters including breakfast, kitchen bench, salads, summertime, afternoon tea, cocktails, dinner, & deserts. Michele Cranston writes the book for readers of all different cooking experience – she discusses everything from how to pick fresh produce to tips and tricks to make your meal delicious. Obvs I am a fan :)
