homework – check… well at least as much as humanly possible at 2:40 am on a thursday morning. and the reward is blogging :) because that is just how ridiculous computer addictions are… you may know what i am talking about… hopefully not.
Personal Style: my suggestion is to play with clothes you already have in new ways. Add a belt, tuck in your shirt, untuck it, wear bright intimates… or maybe none? whatever pushes your style buttons… i dare you :) Marisa (roomie extraordinare) is mixing up her work clothes for tomorrow to show she is more serious (and it will work). It is just food for thought.
what i wore… ghetto version… because this is the best lighting in the APT:) Today, i was thinking that I hadn’t done a styling post in ages (maybe april?) anyways! What we have here is a flea market tank top I treasure with a stretchy black pencil skirt. The tank is cropped but still long enough to for this look - I think it worked for class because the fabrics are casual, comfortable and breathe but it gives the appearance of effort.
The turquoise necklace is a find of my mom’s ebay store… she is always putting up fabulous necklaces for reasonable prices. Please, check it out Wickiup Trading Post… if you ever are craving a southwestern addition to your wardrobe!
wall hanging…
my first Matisse (ali!)
is this too try hard? hopefully not… it’s not easy trying to strike a happy balance between professionalism and personal style.
OMG! almost moved in… still on the air bed – shoot me now… I am hoping to complete the wall with other fine art prints and magazine pages that inspire. Also! what do you think of a crazy large asian lamp for above the dresser? visions!
