while blanching green + white beans… I wondered… what would happen if I boiled a cherry tomato.  Plop, one cherry tomato was dropped in for 2 minutes and became my culinary experiment of the meal.  Results were DELICIOUS!!!! The tomato melted in my mouth – the way it does when you are at a fine Italian restaurant.  The important thing to try to remember is to maintain the tomato skins integrity by minimizing boiling time.

after green beans boiled for 6 minutes and tomatos for 2… remove and place in chilled water… cold from tap is fine.

Combine 1 can chic peas, salmon, onion, olive oil, salt, garlic (lots) in a skillet, sautee and mix with veggies!  so easy and reasonably healthy!
