houseboat…

this post and my next are inspired by the movie House Boat starring Sophia Loren & Carey Grant.  Apparently they were lovers during the filming & Cary Grant wanted to marry her… but she was already engaged… and there was some kind of heated affair… blah blah blah it’s just gossip.

Anyways, I can’t think of a more whimsical home (with the exception of a tree house)… When I was a little girl my family had a house boat on Jackson Lake, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (not quite as luxurious as these babies – see below)… My memories from those days are warm and friendly… spending the day completely disconnected from technology, catching dinner (yum) and swimming with the family… sighhh
