chanel & global warming…

^chanel is not my favorite this season – BUT I DO fully support this fake fur movement!!!

This entire show is ridiculous – the set alone revolves around a MASSIVE glacier… the runway flooded with shallow water… and the models are dressed like the glamazon monsters out of the children’s book Where the Wild Things Are… :) that combination is guaranteed to grab anyones attention.

My recommendation is to scope each garment individually (more difficult than it sounds), in order to appreciate the delicate and subtle details.  The styling is entertaining but overwhelming.

Anyways, my favorite would probably be the series of white garments towards the end of the runway (see below).  What do you think?!  at the very least we can conclude that Chanel is smart for fall 2010…  being warm in winter is bliss…
