HAPPY HALLOWEEN!  Even though they do not celebrate the holiday “officially” down under, us American folk are celebrating with costume Halloween parties. Here is the DIY version of little red riding hood – a red velvet cape with gold detailing and GIGANTIC hood :D

instead of the swimsuit underneath imagine with a white dress, brown belt, boots, and a basket :)~! I will post pics of complete costume tonight… so excited!!!! email me your halloween costumes so I can post about all the creativity a buzz this holiday :)

ben and i took a road trip south to Kiama (the drive was on the coast the entire way!)… here are some of the highlights

road trip music from me to you…

click to enlarge… and notice the dead shark we saw in the back of someone’s truck! wtf isn’t that illegal?!  Some other moments worth mentioning are: ben having to drive on the opposite side of the road in adverse conditions (very scary for everyone involved), our ghetto motel room (which for some reason cost as much as a 4 star hotel) the horse races we randomly arrived at…

oh yes – you may also notice that I look like a bum in all of these pictures… and that is because I was told we were going camping (which ended up not being on the agenda) :) hehe

Hope this works for everyone – I am familiar with a few of these bands and they are releasing the “mix tape” in relation to the TOPSHOP opening down under, so I have a feeling they are legit…. at least I am hoping ;D

for my aussie readers… if you go to http://www.fitnessfirst.com.au/grazia you get a free week gym membership for you and a friend… also, LULU lemon does free yoga classes on Wednesday & Sunday Mornings

Delirium late night + espresso shots is a recipe for a disaster, and a new creative DIY project.  The result is, my latest sewing-capades made from salvaged trash scraps compliments of my old work + some lining material :)

Black & gold is fitting for this weekends homecoming festivities at the university of co (go buffs) hehe

what can be said for this design (aside from that I can improve the construction next time) is that it is very supportive, comfortable, fun, and sassy.  YAY for swimsuit season down under!

Because it is my first trial, there will be more to come… variations on coverage, strapping, and fabric…

Next is an attempt to re-create this VS bra (i know so sell out), I was obsessed with that became discontinued (my friends know what I am talking about).  It was the perfect combination of comfort & support and could be warn under anything… This bra-top has a similar fit.   If I am successful, in the recreation, you can buy on Etsy.com -if interested in something more suited ;) to you,  hit me up
