For awhile now, I have been intrigued by personal styling and composing looks that are comfortable, fashion forward, and sexy. My interest began working at catwalks and retouching fashion editorials… Like most of us, I find myself skimming magazines reading about different products… After exploring Shop Style (see previous post) I decided to start composing looks using their website for my blog to help strengthen my design/styling portfolios. Here is my newest attempt to show you what I like… So here we go :D

Welcome to the first look I have created… The clothes I put together will be pieces that I find interesting with a particular lifestyle, woman, or theme in mind. Ohh yes… and I will also suggest products I like or that my friends give good reviews for. For any further product information click on the link above… more to come shortly! Enjoy ;D

Who: Bohemian, Glamorous, Free Spirit

What: Putting together an outfit for work and happy hour with friends

When: Tomorrow :)

Where: Living in City or BOCO

Why: Woman seeking to find a comfortable, stylish and dressy outfit she can wear to work an out for drinks afterward. You can see the city influence in the rough & arty pieces… the bohemian influence being the natural colors and accessories. And of course the glam in the sunglasses and the gold accents in the shirt and sassy stilettos…

Music is the perfect accessory…

Frédéric Fekkai glossing creme has saved my hair! I love this stuff and am so lucky to have stumbled upon it (i got a free sample at Sephora). This stuff is perfect for every hair type. It is a lightweight shine/defrizzer/finishing/styling creme in one. You can put it in your hair when it is wet and style, or you can put a little on as a grooming creme after you heat style your hair. This is also amazing when you want your hair to air dry and want a little extra polish and control. I sware by this! It makes my coarse/unmanagable/thick hair smooth, glossy, frizz-free, and tames my split ends. Available at Sephora or Ulta.

I heard about Alba’s UnPetroleum Jelly on Kandee Johnson’s blog. This is multipurpose and all-natural. No petroleum or harsh chemicals. It has coconut oil, beeswax. It won’t clog your pores. She swares by it as an all-over sealant for your skin (puts it on after she puts on her night creme to lock it in). Perfect as chapstick (it is glossy and looks like clear lipgloss on your lips) and since it is all-natural, it is o.k. to put on your mouth. Perfect for taking off eye makeup. Perfect for any dry skin, really. I find this stuff to work better than Aquaphor (and I was a hard core Aquaphor addict) and Vaseline. Love it! I got mine at Whole Foods.

Hello all :)

In honor of my copyright I have decided to share my latest designs.  If you are interested then please contact me :)  Let’s call this look “pirate pants”…. I know they may seem ridiculous but they are sO comfortable and go with the Harem/Hammer pant trend that is happening right now.  They could be cool dressed up to go out with a boot or high heals… or you could wear them to a dance class, school, or work …  Pirate pants can be dressed up or down to go to any occasion.   In addition to their versatility they feel like heaven because they breathe but still keep you comfortably warm (thanks to the fitted draping around the calf).  I can custom to your liking by adjusting the design, construction, color, or decor to match your personal styling.  I am adding buttons or some gold chains up the bottom half of mine… (inspired by givenchy & gucci 2008-2009 runway designs, and of course pirates) pardon the lack of a better model!!! hah

This one is kind of confusing because my shawl looks like part of the pants, they are not that baggy around the thigh!!

^ my temporary logo!!! gold embroidery… I am adjusting the font to be smaller!!!

And now onto the necklace I made that I think makes a cool/glam compliment to the pants…

^ So it is actually a charm necklace of sorts… it is gold (GOLD OBSESSION!!!!!)  each piece composing the necklace is very personal to me…  For example the silver lee brevard cross charm I found in high school, the token I got as a token of friendship with an old friend while in new york, the bird is a charm from the jewelry collection I am designing right now inspired by sky,  and all of the stones I got at adorable bead shop in BOCO before I moved… sooooo :) please let me know if interested because I can custom do a piece for yoU or a loved one!!!
